Marriott Oliver has had a longstanding commitment to the local community and this commitment is continued with enthusiasm by the current directors.
Anne Brown is on the Management Committee of the Shoalhaven Business Chamber where she is involved in decisions aimed and enhancing and developing opportunities for business in the Shoalhaven.
All of the professional staff members at Marriott Oliver attend Business Chamber events regularly throughout the year. These events allow us the opportunity to meet with clients, colleagues and members of the business community in a more relaxed and open environment. Regular events known as “Business after Hours” allow local business and new members to showcase their products and services. The events also allow new residents and business owners in the Shoalhaven to meet with likeminded people. Recently Anne and Leonie Sinclair attended a Business after Hours function which was heavily supported by the business community.
Anne has recently become a committee member of Shoalhaven Professional Business Association (SPBA) replacing Leonie Sinclair who has been a valued committee member for many years.
Marriott Oliver Solicitors participated in The Law Society of NSW’s Will Awareness Week recently. This annual event promotes the importance of having up-to-date and current wills and by conducting seminars for local clubs and associations including Rotary and Lions.
If you are a member of a club or organisation that would like to hold such a seminar, just let our Office Manager know on 4422 4422 or firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange this for you.
Marriott Oliver Solicitors recently sponsored, organise and ran a “Tradies Breakfast” where local tradesmen joined us for an information session aimed at providing them with detailed legal information specifically aimed at the building and construction industry. This was held early one morning to provide the least disruption to their working day and they appreciated the breakfast provided for them.
